Zero Balancing is a hands-on healing therapy that works with both energy and structure in the skeleton.  Zero Balancing I (ZB I) is a foundational course and the first half of the Core Zero Balancing sequence.  It is open to anyone interested in learning about healing touch, and there are no prerequisites for the class.  ZB I is a comprehensive course that teaches the full ZB protocol and can be applied right away.  This class equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate this unique modality into their practice.

Developed by Dr. Fritz Smith, an Osteopath and 5 Element Acupuncturist, Zero Balancing uses a gentle touch to bones and joints to encourage flow of Qi, energy / vitality through the tissue. Bones and fascia are piezoelectric and when stimulated by touch, conduct a vital current. The result is a feeling of aliveness, balance and cohesion. A sense of well-being is experienced by both client & practitioner.

Who is it for? Bodyworkers, Massage therapists, Yoga teachers, Somatic therapists, to name a few. It's for anyone with a clientele practice that utilizes hands on work. The work is done with the client fully clothed, lying on their back, often dropping into a meditative state during the session. After a session clients report feeling more embodied with an ease, peace, and vitality in their body.
